Pensioners may be aware that from our(Hyderabad) Association), we have recently written to Chairman to expedite payment of arrears as directed by Delhi High Court in its judgment dated 27/4/2017 while providing partial relief.
As per the directions given by DHC,the arrears will be payable latest before the end of one year from the date of receipt of the DHC Order without interest..LIC may take advantage of the marginal delay in uploading of the judgment in the DHC website and delay the payment to some extent.
Pensioners under para 1, drawing basic pension of over 2130 and those under para 2 drawing basic pension of more than 3850 will only be getting arrears of DR as a result of the judgment.
In the meantime,I have prepared a compressed format of calculation of arrears taking into account the parameters of revalorisation by the DHC modifying the DR formula for para 1 & para 2 pensioners.
Such of those pensioners who would like to know the amount payable to them upto 31/1/2018, may send the following details by email, so that I can send the calculations if they desire.:
S R No:
Date of Retirement;
Cadre;
Basic Pension;
Gross Monthly Pension for December 2017(for cross checking for correctness of basic pension stated).
Such of those pensioners who are drawing minimum pension may also send details so that I can work out upgraded minimum pension as per judgment and try to work out the arrears and inform.
